Mark's writing biography

I've written lots of things. In fact you're reading one of the things I've written now. Amongst the other stuff I write, some of it's for television, some of it's for stage and some of it's for radio. Most of it's funny apart from the stuff that’s not meant to be.

Here's a brief outline of my writing experience to date:

Fung Mu Meets the TV Detective short film written and filmed for Guerrilla Film Makers 48 hour Challenge, 2002. Shortlisted for best film.
Satan’s School of Speech and Drama episode one of six-episode radio comedy series written in 2002
BBC Urban Sketch Comedy Team commissioned sketch writer, 2002
The Fundraisers pilot sitcom episode, winner in Sitcom Trials evening, January 2003
Jack, a Lad’s Tale short film written and filmed for Guerrilla Film Makers 48 hour Challenge 2003
Shoot the Writers (Series 1, episode 10) comedy sketch showcased on ITV1, shortlisted for best sketch, 2004
Mindkrieg episode three of six-episode comedy series written for radio in 2005
Shoot the Writers (Series 2, episode 2) four comedy sketches showcased on ITV1, 2005

Stage
Enter the Vagabond absurd comedy written and performed at University of East Anglia Studio, Norwich in 1997
Company of Wolves adapted into verse from Angela Carter’s short story
and performed at University of East Anglia Studio, Norwich in 1998
The Horse Stealers adapted into verse from Anton Chekhov’s short story
in 1998 and performed at the Diorama Arts Centre, London in 2000
The Hermit original short story in verse, written in 2001, filmed in 2004
